Meet Your Trainer
Hi, I’m Shernelle François, a personal trainer, certified nutrition coach and a former NCAA student-athlete. After continuing my athletic journey as a competitive calisthenics athlete at Brunel University, I developed a deep-rooted passion for fitness and discovered firsthand the transformative power it has on performance, health, and overall well-being.
Why I’m Different: Athletic Roots × Coaching Expertise
My years competing at the collegiate level weren’t just about pushing limits; they taught me how to train smarter. Designing workouts that build strength, endurance, agility, and speed became second nature, and that athletic insight informs every program I craft.
Injury Prevention & Recovery, Firsthand
Going through my injuries shaped my belief: sustainable fitness is built on resilience. That’s why I emphasise injury prevention and rehabilitation, designing training methods that not only help clients heal but build strength in a safe, intelligent way—focusing on recovery strategies and mindful movement.
Comprehensive, Certified Approach
I’m not just an athlete, I’m also certified in Reformer Pilates, nutrition, and calisthenics, so I design holistic programs that respect how your body moves, fuels, and recovers.
Why Choose Me?
Because I’ve been in your shoes, training hard, facing setbacks, and learning how to thrive. I blend team-tested discipline with recovery-focused, smart movement, offering motivation, strategy, and heartfelt support, all customised for you. No cookie-cutter programs, just results-driven, sustainable coaching built from experience.

Why choose you as my coach?
I’m a former student-athlete and competitive calisthenics athlete, now a certified personal trainer, Pilates coach, and nutrition coach.
My unique background means I understand training for performance while prioritising injury prevention and recovery. I bring both the discipline of elite sport and the empathy of someone who’s faced setbacks, so my coaching is about building strength, confidence, and resilience that lasts.
Do I need to be fit before starting?
Not at all. I work with clients at every level, from complete beginners to athletes.
My role is to meet you where you are and design a program that safely challenges you. With my background in movement coaching and athletic training, I’ll help you build strong foundations and progress at a pace that feels achievable.
What’s it like to train in a private studio?
We’ll work in private studios, fully equipped and booked individually, so it’s just you and me. You’ll have my full attention in a distraction-free environment.
My expertise in strength, Pilates, and injury prevention ensures your sessions are effective, safe, and tailored to your body.
I’ve had injuries before—can I still train with you?
Yes. I’ve navigated injuries myself as an athlete, which is why I emphasise injury prevention, recovery strategies, and smart movement in my coaching.
I’ll adapt your training to protect vulnerable areas, rebuild confidence, and strengthen your body so you can move forward safely.
How does online coaching work?
Online training is delivered through TrueCoach, where you’ll receive personalised programs, exercise demos, and habit tracking. I also provide form reviews and regular check-ins to keep you accountable.
Thanks to my background as a competitive athlete and certified trainer, you’re not just getting a generic plan, you’re getting structured, progressive coaching with professional oversight.
Do you provide nutrition guidance?

You’ll learn how to fuel your training, support recovery, and improve your everyday energy without crash diets.
My approach combines the science of nutrition with the practical realities of busy lifestyles.
